I’m a post-doc and an athlete, but I’m not a jock or a nerd. Ok, maybe I’m a little geeky. But I am a real person, with a real life. I have big goals- someday I want to complete my 50th marathon, one from each state, before my 50th birthday. And I also want to be an academic. Someday I’ll be a professor, and I’ll be hangin’ with the big wigs, drinking scotch more than I already do, and doing more awesome stuff (wait, is that even possible?).

I’m a fan of endurance sports, and I love the marathon on up. The longer, the better.

And if given the option between cake or death, I’ll have the cake.
